About me

I am a designer and design researcher exploring the sensory experience of clothing. Guided by participatory design methods, I collaborate with diverse communities—primarily neurodivergent individuals—to create meaningful, wellbeing-focused designs.

I hold an MA in Design from the Willem de Kooning Academy (Rotterdam, NL) and a BA in Fashion Design from Falmouth University (UK). I’ve worked with Tommy Hilfiger and Camiel Fortgens, and my work has been exhibited at Dutch Design Week and the Inside-Out Art Museum, Beijing.

My research challenges fashion’s traditional visual focus, advocating for design that engages non-visual senses and honours the emotional connections we form with clothing.

Through projects, presentations, and workshops, I aim to:

  • Foster critical conversations about inclusivity and wellbeing in (fashion) design
  • Empower participants through hands-on, exploratory processes
  • Prioritise designing with diverse communities

My motivation for this work stems from my autistic niece, who has deepened my passion for designing for people whose needs are often overlooked. As an ally, I continue to learn through direct collaboration, consultation, and by listening closely to communities.
