Life’s Rehearsal is an exhibition at the Inside-Out Art Museum in Beijing, curated by Rongkun Na, is the latest in a series of annual exhibitions at the Inside-Out Art Museum dedicated to exploring art and autism, a program that has been ongoing since 2010. The 2025 edition expands the conversation to include broader perspectives on neurodiversity, bringing together artists engaging with autism and neurodiversity, alongside others whose work opens up new ways of understanding these themes.
(Dis)Embodied Garments is currently on display at the museum. As part of the exhibition I held workshop, Wardrobe Remedies, with museum attendees where we explored the connection between clothing and the senses through rapid prototyping. The resulting pieces are now part of the exhibition.

Sensory prototyping: Workshop attendees were presented with a range of materials and trims, using making to reflect on the sensory properties of the materials and trims, as well as placement in relation to the body.
