The Prosperity Fashion conference is an international event hosted by the Università degli Studi di Firenze. It explores the future of fashion beyond profit-driven growth, examining how the industry can align with economic, environmental, and social well-being. Through discussions on sustainability, material innovation, and policy, the conference redefines prosperity and fashion’s role in shaping a more responsible and interconnected future.
My paper, Sensory Repair: Crafting Inclusion Through Designing with the Senses, addresses the sensory impact of clothing for neurodivergent wearers. Drawing from my MA Design research, I offer insights into how designers can create more inclusive fashion for neurodivergent audiences.
I present under the theme of Living Materials, chaired by Isabella Alevato.
