Workshop facilitation
Dynamo, Atelier 77, Amsterdam
January 2025 onwards
Dynamo is a not-for-profit organisation, with Atelier 77 serving as its creative hub in Amsterdam Zuid, bringing the community together through creative practice. I co-host a weekly sewing and handicraft workshop as part of this initiative.
In these workshops, attendees either work on their own sewing projects or collaborate on shared creations. My role involves providing advice, guidance, and fostering conversation. These sessions provide opportunity for community members to develop their skills in a social space, where making becomes a vehicle for community connection.
The workshops offer a space for people from diverse backgrounds to come together, with making at the heart of this community-building effort. Beyond offering technical support, my role is to help bridge connections and create an inclusive, welcoming environment for all participants.
